Clothing Industry Training Authority is organizing a new course, Essential Textile Knowledge for Fashion Retail Practitioners, on 27 November. This course is designed to the fashion retail practitioners for building up their textile materials knowledge. The textile material knowledge provides a basis for fashion retail practitioners in understanding the characteristics of different textile materials and fashion products, customer expectations and ways to better care the fashion products.

In order to appreciate HKITA for actively promoting the Qualifications Framework (QF) and participating in the “Recognition of Prior Learning” mechanism, HKITA Chairman Prof. Kan Chi Wai was invited by QF to attend the “Ceremony and Sharing Session for Fashion Industry” held in Xiqu Centre, West Kowloon Cultural District on 12 October 2023 (Thursday) to receive the commendation.
